Description: The Upstream Down-Shift Noise Margin value, to be used when

adsl2LConfProfRaModeUs is set to dynamicRa. If the upstream noise margin is below this value and stays below that for more than the time specified by the adsl2LConfProfRaDsTimeUs, the ATU-C shall attempt to decrease the upstream net data rate. The Upstream Down-Shift Noise Margin ranges from 0 to 310 units of 0.1 dB (physical values are 0 to 31 dB).

What is adsl2LConfProfRaDsNrmsUs?

This parameter defines the upstream noise margin threshold in 0.1 dB steps (0-310 units, equivalent to 0-31 dB) that triggers upstream speed reduction when breached. Engineers configure this to maintain upstream stability by backing off speed early when signal quality degrades. Setting this to 40 (4 dB) means if upstream noise margin falls below 4 dB, the modem will lower the upstream data rate.
