Access: read-create

Description: Power management state Enabling. Defines the power states the ATU-C or ATU-R may autonomously transition to on this line. The various bit positions are: allowTransitionsToIdle(0) and allowTransitionsToLowPower(1). A bit with a '1' value means that the ATU is allowed to transit into the respective state, and a '0' value means that the ATU is not allowed to transit into the respective state.

What is adsl2LConfProfPmMode?

This parameter is a bitmask controlling which power management states the modem is permitted to enter autonomously during idle periods. Network administrators enable this to reduce power consumption on lightly-used lines. For instance, setting bit 0 to '1' allows transitions to Idle state, while setting bit 1 to '1' allows Low-Power state; setting both to '0' keeps the modem in full-power mode continuously.
