Description: The maximum upstream aggregate receive power over the relevant set of sub-carriers. The ATU-C should verify that the upstream power cutback is such that this maximum aggregate receive power value is honored. It ranges from -255 to 255 units of 0.1 dBm (physical values are -25.5 to 25.5 dBm). A value of 0x7FFFFFFF (2147483647) means that there is no limit.

What is adsl2LConfProfMaxAggRxPwrUs?

This signed integer (−255 to 255 in units of 0.1 dBm, or 2147483647 for no limit) caps the maximum upstream receive power per sub-carrier to prevent receiver overload. A network engineer sets this to protect the modem's receive circuitry from overly strong upstream signals caused by nearby transmitters. For example, a value of 50 means the receiver will not accept signals stronger than 5 dBm; a value of 2147483647 disables the limit.
