Module: ADSL2-LINE-MIB
OID (symbolic): ADSL2-LINE-MIB::adsl2LConfProfAtuTransSysEna
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.10.238.1.5.1.2.1.23
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Adsl2TransmissionModeType
Access: read-create
Description: ATU Transmission System Enabling (ATSE). A list of the different coding types enabled in this profile. It is coded in a bit-map representation with 1 or more bits set. A bit set to '1' means that the ATUs may apply the respective coding for the ADSL line. A bit set to '0' means that the ATUs cannot apply the respective coding for the ADSL line. All 'reserved' bits should be set to '0'.
What is adsl2LConfProfAtuTransSysEna?
This OID contains a bitmask that enables or disables specific ADSL2 coding types (such as Trellis coding, interleaving modes, or other transmission schemes) that the modem is allowed to use. Operators configure this to restrict modulation schemes for compatibility with certain line conditions or vendor equipment. For example, setting bit 3 to '1' might enable G.dmt mode while clearing bit 4 disables T1.413, limiting the modem to use only G.dmt.
