What is adnFrtVCSiRemoteifIndex?
This OID contains the interface index of the remote port where the far end of this virtual circuit is connected, allowing cross-device port correlation. Network engineers use this to identify the remote physical interface and retrieve its detailed statistics from the remote device's IF-MIB table. An ifIndex value of 8 on the remote side indicates that the remote VC endpoint is on interface 8 of the remote device, potentially mapped to "slot 2, port 1" or similar.
