Description: Before a periodic delay measurement can report a new delay value to ROUTES, a specified number of consecutive measurements must be significantly high OR a specified number of consecutive measurements must be significantly low. This field defines that specified number of consecutive measurements.
What is adnFrtChanSiDlyPersis?
This OID specifies how many consecutive delay measurements must be consistently high or low before the system reports a new delay value to the routing system. This prevents route flapping: temporary glitches do not cause route oscillation; only sustained delay changes trigger action. For example, if this is set to 5, the system must see five consecutive measurements all above the threshold before notifying the router to find an alternate path.
