Description: This object provides a mechanism for controlling Cvsi's ability to enable/disable tracing of various types of messages. The following are the possible values it can hold. 0 - Trace disabled 1 - Trace CVSI Library information messages 2 - Trace CVSI Library Minor error messages 4 - Trace CVSI Library Major error messages 8 - Trace CVSI Library detailed messages 16 - Trace CVSI relay messages 32 - Trace CVSI Master messages 64 - Trace ATM Signalling messages 128 - Trace CLCS messages
What is adnCvsiHssTraceCntl?
This read-write OID controls which types of CVSI messages and errors are written to the trace buffer, using a bitmask where each bit enables a different trace category. Network engineers set this value to enable detailed debugging when troubleshooting CVSI library issues or to disable tracing when moving from development to production to reduce overhead. A value of 15 (binary 1111) would enable tracing of library info, minor errors, major errors, and detailed messages simultaneously.
