Description: The counter associated with the number of free point-to-point (PTP) internal channel identifiers (ICI); counter #12 of the ATM core; this counter is only relevant for the matrix board.
What is adnAeiPortTrFPTPICICounter?
This gauge shows how many unused internal channel identifiers are still available for point-to-point connections on the ATM board. Network engineers monitor this to plan capacity and detect when the board is running low on channel identifiers for new connections. If the value drops to 10 free identifiers, administrators know the board can only accept 10 more point-to-point connections before it runs out.
