What is adnAeiPortErrNFWFCounter?
This counter tracks write failures when the network FIFO attempts to store incoming data packets in its buffer on the ATM core. Engineers monitor this critical metric because write failures mean traffic packets are being discarded before they can even be processed by the switch. A non-zero value like 4 indicates 4 write operations to the network buffer failed, causing data loss.
