What is dmPort?
This OID specifies which physical port on the gateway or router the device is physically plugged into (port ranges: 1-10 for SCSI, 1-6 for Fibre Channel, 1-3 for SSA). Engineers use this to locate the device physically and understand port utilization across the gateway hardware. A value of 4 means the device connects to gateway port 4.
