What is phDriveFcLoopIdMode?
This OID controls whether the tape drive's Fibre Channel port ID is negotiated dynamically (soft mode) or fixed (hard mode). A network engineer configures this to lock down a drive's addressing for stable SAN environments or allow dynamic assignment in highly virtualized setups. For example, setting hard mode ensures the drive always uses the same port ID after reboot.
