What is fcbInstallStatusText?
This read-only OID provides a detailed text message (up to 128 characters) showing the installation status of the Fiber Channel Backend (FCB) component, including download progress and estimated completion time. A storage admin tracks this to verify that SAN connectivity firmware is updating correctly alongside other device components. For example, 'download inprogress, current fcb version 3.2, estimated 12 minutes' shows the FCB is downloading firmware and will take 12 minutes to finish.
