Description: Defines product OIDs and registration objects for Oracle/ACME Packet Session Border Controller product family identification.
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is ACMEPACKET-PRODUCTS?
ACMEPACKET-PRODUCTS is an Acme Packet (now Oracle, part of the Oracle Communications Session Border Controller line) MIB module that defines product identification OIDs used to register and identify specific Acme Packet/Oracle SBC hardware and software product variants within the enterprise SNMP tree. It does not expose any runtime monitoring data itself; it exists purely to provide a registration point (sysObjectID-style values) that other MIBs and management systems reference to identify which specific Acme Packet product a managed device is. As such it has no direct role in monitoring hardware/software status - actual status data (uptime, CPU, session counts, trunk/media status) is exposed by Acme Packet's separate operational MIBs, for which this products MIB supplies naming/identification. It is a dependency referenced by those companion Acme Packet operational MIBs for sysObjectID identification. It's deployed as a supporting registration module wherever Acme Packet/Oracle SBCs are managed via SNMP, with the ACMEPACKET-PRODUCTS reference supplying the sysObjectID values those operational MIBs depend on.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in ACMEPACKET-PRODUCTS. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- Acme Packet/Oracle Session Border Controllers (SBC)
Monitoring Examples
This module is a product-identification/registration MIB with no runtime data objects of its own (no sample objects were exposed in the source excerpt), so there is no monitoring scenario to describe honestly; its sole function is to supply OID identity values that other Acme Packet operational MIBs reference in sysObjectID to identify the specific SBC hardware/software product.
