All MIBs › ACC-NAT

Category: IP and Core Protocols, Vendor: ACC/Ericsson

Description: Manages Network Address Translation (NAT) on ACC/Ericsson routers, including address pool configuration, static NAT mappings, and translation table statistics.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is ACC-NAT?

ACC-NAT is a legacy Access Communications Corp (ACC, built on ACC-MIB/ACC-SYSTEM) proprietary MIB reporting NAT (Network Address Translation) mappings for IP interfaces. Its map table, keyed by ifIndex, records the mapped address; a map-stats table records per-flow source/destination address/port, mapped port, protocol, and mapped/unmapped packet counts; a NAV-map table records server port/address for network-address-visibility mappings; and a NAT table records source address per interface. As a configuration/performance MIB it lets an administrator confirm NAT address mappings and watch per-flow translation counts on legacy ACC WAN access equipment. It is deployed on legacy ACC (Access Communications Corp) WAN access equipment (NAT). Engineers can download the ACC-NAT file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in ACC-NAT. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • Legacy ACC (Access Communications Corp) WAN access equipment (NAT)

Monitoring Examples

An administrator checks accNatMapStatTblMapCnts and accNATMapMapAddr to confirm NAT translation activity and mapped addresses on legacy ACC WAN access equipment.

What Can Be Monitored

  • NAT address-mapping configuration and per-flow translation counts
