What is sipMiscEnableEarlyMedia?
This OID is a boolean toggle for early media—audio/video streamed before the called party fully answers. Engineers enable this to let callers hear ring-back tones or announcements immediately, improving user experience. When enabled, the gateway forwards provisional 18x SIP responses with media streams to the caller.
