Module: ZYXEL-ES2024A-MIB

OID (symbolic): ZYXEL-ES2024A-MIB::eventSeqNum

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.890.1.5.8.16.26.1.1.1.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-only

Description: This variable represents the sequence number of an event. Sequence number is incremented monotonically starting from 0 until it reaches its maximum and wraps around back to 0.

Sequence number is incremented when - the state of a normal type fault is set on (the same sequence number is present in the events table as well as in the trap that is sent to notify about the fault on event) - delta event occurs (sequence number present in trap message) - the state of a normal type fault is set off (sequence number present in trap that is sent to notify for clearing).

What is eventSeqNum?

A monotonically increasing sequence number identifying this fault event, wrapping back to 0 after reaching its maximum; the same number ties together an event's table row, its raising trap, and its later clearing trap.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.890.1.5.8.16.26.1.1.1.1
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ZYXEL-ES2024A-MIB::eventSeqNum

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.890.1.5.8.16.26.1.1.1.1.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ZYXEL-ES2024A-MIB::eventSeqNum.1

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> eventSeqNum.1
