Description: Manages ZTE ZXR10 router hierarchical QoS policy configuration for multi-level traffic scheduling.
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is ZXR10-HQOS-MIB?
ZXR10-HQOS-MIB implements hierarchical QoS on ZTE ZXR10 (ROSng) routers, managing multi-level traffic scheduling and shaping policies -- for example per-subscriber or per-VLAN queues nested beneath per-port scheduling -- to provide tiered bandwidth guarantees. It exposes QoS policy and queue configuration objects. It is primarily a configuration-oriented MIB rather than a hardware/fault module, though where queue-drop or utilization counters are exposed they would reveal congestion within a specific traffic class. It builds on general DiffServ/QoS concepts, analogous to the IETF DIFFSERV-MIB, adapted to ZTE's hierarchical scheduler model. It is typically deployed on ZXR10 edge/aggregation routers providing tiered bandwidth guarantees to business or residential subscribers. Engineers can download the ZXR10-HQOS-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in ZXR10-HQOS-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- ZTE ZXR10 router (ROSng-based)
Monitoring Examples
No specific object names were present in the source, so the following scenario is inferred from module_desc: an operator configures a hierarchical QoS policy binding per-subscriber queues beneath a parent port-level scheduler, then polls per-queue statistics (where exposed) to detect a subscriber's queue hitting its shaped rate ceiling. That condition would explain a customer's measured throughput capping out below their provisioned bandwidth.
What Can Be Monitored
- hierarchical QoS policy configuration
- per-queue scheduling parameters
- queue/class bandwidth allocation
