zxAnSecIfMaxLearnedMacs

Module: ZTE-AN-SECURITY-INTERFACE-MIB

OID (symbolic): ZTE-AN-SECURITY-INTERFACE-MIB::zxAnSecIfMaxLearnedMacs

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3902.1082.70.10.2.4.2.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-write

Description: Configure the number of the MAC address learnt. One port can only learn a maximum of the MACs configured. When the value of bit 1 (supportMaxLearnedMacsRangeTo1M) of zxAnSecInterfaceCapabilities is 1, the valid range of the object is from 0 to 1048576 or 2147483647, the value 2147483647 means no limit, and the default value is 2147483647, otherwise the valid range is from 0 to 16383 or 65535, the value 65535 means no limit, and the default value is 65535.

What is zxAnSecIfMaxLearnedMacs?

Caps how many MAC addresses this port may learn; once a device supports the extended range (per zxAnSecInterfaceCapabilities bit 1) the valid range is 0-1,048,576 or 2147483647 (no limit, the default), otherwise it's 0-16383 or 65535 (no limit, the default) — an admin lowers this on access ports to limit MAC flooding or unauthorized device sprawl.
