Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-write

Description: The report interval of the same MAC move notification. When zxAnMasMacMoveReportEnable is enable and a MAC move is detected by system, the system will record a MAC move log. The first time this MAC move log will be reported to NMS in 5 seconds, later this same MAC move log will be reported to NMS after the defined zxAnMasMacMoveReportInterval.

What is zxAnMasMacMoveReportInterval?

This object sets, in minutes from 1 to 300, how often the same repeated MAC move notification is re-reported to the NMS after its initial report (which happens within 5 seconds of detection), defaulting to 30. Admins tune this to control notification frequency for a MAC address that keeps moving repeatedly, avoiding a flood of duplicate alerts while still getting periodic reminders. For example, an admin wanting less frequent repeat alerts for a persistently flapping MAC might raise this well above the 30-minute default.
