zxAnMasMacMoveLogFromIfIndex

Module: ZTE-AN-MAC-ANTI-SPOOFING-MIB

OID (symbolic): ZTE-AN-MAC-ANTI-SPOOFING-MIB::zxAnMasMacMoveLogFromIfIndex

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3902.1082.70.20.2.1.2.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-only

Description: The value of the port from which the zxAnMasMacMoveLogMacAddr is moving on zxAnMasMacMoveLogVid. This object is instantiated only when zxAnMasEnable and zxAnMasMacMoveReportEnable value is set to enable(1) and a MAC move is detected by the MAC move notification feature.

What is zxAnMasMacMoveLogFromIfIndex?

This object holds the port (ifIndex) that a logged MAC address moved away from on the VLAN in zxAnMasMacMoveLogVid, populated only when zxAnMasEnable and zxAnMasMacMoveReportEnable are both enabled and a move was detected. Admins use it, alongside the destination port, to trace exactly where a MAC address relocated from, helping distinguish a legitimate reconnection from a spoofing attempt. For example, an admin investigating an alert would check whether this source port matches where the legitimate device was last known to be connected.
