zhoneRadiusClientRetryCount

Module: ZHONE-RADIUS-CLIENT

OID (symbolic): ZHONE-RADIUS-CLIENT::zhoneRadiusClientRetryCount

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5504.4.14.1.1.1.7

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Description: The number of times to retry a failed request before we rotate to the next server in the list.

What is zhoneRadiusClientRetryCount?

This read-create value sets how many times the device retries a failed RADIUS request to this server before rotating to the next server in the list, defaulting to 5. Admins tune this to control how persistently the device tries a given server before failing over, balancing authentication speed against resilience to transient packet loss. For example, lowering zhoneRadiusClientRetryCount to 2 makes the device fail over to a backup RADIUS server more quickly when the primary is unresponsive.
