Module: ZHONE-COM-IP-STATIC-ROUTE-MIB

OID (symbolic): ZHONE-COM-IP-STATIC-ROUTE-MIB::staticRoutePingInterval

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5504.4.1.13.1.1.10

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Description: This object defines the interval, in milliseconds, of succesive pings of the nexthop of an active fallback route pair. The minimum value is 500 milliseconds, and must be specified in increments of 100 milliseconds.

What is staticRoutePingInterval?

This value sets, in milliseconds, how often the device pings the next hop of an active fallback route pair to monitor its reachability, with a minimum of 500 ms in 100 ms increments. An admin tunes it to control how quickly the device can detect a failed next hop for a fallback-route-pair route. For example, setting this to 1000 would have the device ping the active route's next hop once per second to monitor its health.
