Setting this object to close will inject an administrative close event into the IP network protocol's finite state machine.

What is pppxConfigCcpConfigAdminStatus?

This read-write enumeration (open/close) drives the Compression Control Protocol's negotiation state machine; note the source's DESCRIPTION text was copy-pasted from the IPX entry and mislabels this as the "IPX network protocol" -- based on the object's own name and position, this actually controls CCP (compression) negotiation, letting an admin manually open or close compression capability on the link.
