This write-only INTEGER object, when written, causes the switch to compute a newly optimized hash function for the HRE-X PseudoCAM and program it into the HRE-X hardware. An admin triggers this when collision chain lengths (xylanHrexCollisionLengthMax/Avg) indicate the current hash distribution is inefficient. For example, an admin writes a value to this object after observing growing collision chains, to have the switch recompute a better-balanced hash.
