Description: A description of the event stored in the UPS event queue. This description will be a sixteen bit integer value representing one of the defined alarms in the Powerware Binary Computer Mode communication specification; for example, a value of 0 represents the 'Inverter AC Over Voltage' alarm (byte 1, bit 0 in the BCM Alarm Map).

What is xupsAlarmEventDescr?

A deprecated 16-bit code identifying which alarm from the Powerware Binary Computer Mode alarm map an event log entry represents, e.g. 0 for 'Inverter AC Over Voltage'; superseded by the human-readable xupsAlarmEventMsg.
