OID (symbolic): XIRCOM-MIB::queuedJobs

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.588.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: the number of queued print jobs

What is queuedJobs?

This value reports the current number of print jobs waiting in the printer's queue, per the source's brief description. An administrator monitors this to detect a backlog building up, which could indicate the printer has stalled or is processing jobs slower than they're arriving. For example, seeing queuedJobs climb to 25 and stay there would suggest jobs are piling up rather than being processed, warranting investigation.
