Module: XEROX-COMMON-MIB

OID (symbolic): XEROX-COMMON-MIB::xcmJobStartedProcessingTime

Access: read-only

Description: The time at which the job started to be processed by the intended device (printed, scanned, faxed, etc.). NOTE: For use with this MIB, this attribute has been generalized to be used with any device, whereas the corresponding ISO DPA attribute is only started printing. A conforming implementation shall return an actual date and time, rather than the DEFVAL, unless the implementation cannot tell time. ISO DPA: Started-printing-time This attribute indicates the time at which this job started printing [processing].

What is xcmJobStartedProcessingTime?

This field records the exact date and time when a print, scan, or fax job began being processed by the device, providing accurate job timing information for auditing and performance analysis. Unlike deprecated attributes, this is generalized to work with any device type capable of processing jobs. An operator would use this timestamp to verify job processing order, calculate device throughput, and troubleshoot job scheduling issues.
