Module: XEROX-COMMON-MIB

OID (symbolic): XEROX-COMMON-MIB::xcmDocPrintOutputMethod

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.253.8.59.13.1.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: XcmJMDocOutputMethod

Access: read-only

Description: This object is bit coded, so that multiple document output requests may be made for the document. Each bit corresponds to one of the ISO DPA output OIDs. See XcmJMDocOutputMethod textual convention for the algorithm that maps DPA OIDs to bits. ISO DPA: Output This attribute identifies the output processing for the media on which the document is to be printed.

What is xcmDocPrintOutputMethod?

This bit-coded object specifies which output processing methods are requested for a document, such as collation, stapling, hole-punch, or binding, with each bit mapping to an ISO DPA output specification. It allows a single document to be processed through multiple output devices in sequence. Printer administrators use this to understand what finishing operations were requested for a print job and to diagnose configuration issues.
