Description: The 12-bit VLAN ID used in the VLAN Tag header.

What is xVlanID?

This read-create Unsigned32 (1-4094) holds the 12-bit VLAN ID carried in the 802.1Q VLAN tag header for a configured VLAN entry. Admins use it to define which VLAN a given table row represents, since this ID is what appears in tagged frames traversing the switch. For example, creating a row with xVlanID set to 100 configures the device to recognize and handle traffic tagged with VLAN 100.
