xsysResetControl
Module: XEDIA-SYSTEM-MIB
OID (symbolic): XEDIA-SYSTEM-MIB::xsysResetControl
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.838.3.1.1.1.3
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: This is the 'software reset button' of the agent. When read, this object always returns the value 'ready(1)'. When set to 'reset(2)', the system will reset and reload its configuration from NVRAM. When set to 'resetToDefaults(3)', the system will delete its configuration parameters and then reset, which will cause it to come up with its default configuration.
What is xsysResetControl?
The software reset control for the device: reading it always returns ready(1); setting it to reset(2) reboots and reloads the existing configuration from NVRAM, while resetToDefaults(3) wipes the configuration and reboots to factory defaults, so use that value with care.
