xsysDnsAdminStatus
Module: XEDIA-SYSTEM-MIB
OID (symbolic): XEDIA-SYSTEM-MIB::xsysDnsAdminStatus
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.838.3.1.1.10.2
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: The desired state of the DNS resolver. The DNS resolver is operational by default, but is unable to resolve names or addresses until at least one name server is defined.
The DNS resolver can therefore be removed from operation by removing all configured name servers, or by setting this object to `down'.
What is xsysDnsAdminStatus?
Administrative switch for the device's DNS resolver; set it down to disable name resolution entirely, equivalent to removing all configured name servers.
