This read-only Counter tallies the number of Yellow Alarm indications received on the T1 line, which signal that the far end is reporting a receive problem back to this end. An admin uses this to detect far-end receive issues even when this end's own signal looks fine, pointing to a problem beyond the local circuit. For example, a rising Yellow Alarm count while local counters stay clean suggests the trouble lies on the far-end receiver or the return path.
