wfSyncAsyncDataMaxIdles

Module: Wellfleet-SYNC-MIB

OID (symbolic): Wellfleet-SYNC-MIB::wfSyncAsyncDataMaxIdles

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.18.3.4.5.1.114

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: Maximum number of idles we'll receive (in Command Mode) (i.e. when the modems have connected & entered data state), before closing the ASYNC frame. This value is used to delineate frames when receiving data when the SYNC port is configured for UART/ASYNCHRONOUS mode.

What is wfSyncAsyncDataMaxIdles?

Read-only report of the maximum idle-character count actually in effect for delineating ASYNC frames once the modem has connected and entered data state on this UART-mode port; note the source MIB's DESCRIPTION text says 'Command Mode' here, which appears to be a copy-paste leftover from the sibling wfSyncAsyncCmndMaxIdles object, since the object's own name and its 'modems have connected & entered data state' wording both indicate this is really the Data Mode counterpart, paired with wfSyncCfgAsyncDataMaxIdles.
