Module: Wellfleet-HSSI-MIB

OID (symbolic): Wellfleet-HSSI-MIB::wfHssiCarrLossDebounceTmo

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.18.3.4.7.1.64

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: This attribute determines how many seconds to wait before transitioning to the Carrier Lost state when the Carrier Signal is lost. When set to 0 (default), the Driver will immediately transition to the lost state upon detecting Carrier Loss. If the Carrier Signal returns prior to reaching this threshold, the Driver will not enter the Carrier Lost state at all.

What is wfHssiCarrLossDebounceTmo?

This sets how many seconds (0 to 2147483647, default 0) the driver waits before declaring Carrier Lost after the carrier signal actually drops; at the default of 0, it transitions immediately, while a nonzero value rides out brief carrier blips without ever entering the lost state if the signal returns in time. Set it to a few seconds on a flaky physical link to avoid flapping the interface up and down on momentary carrier glitches.
