Sets or reports the V.54 loopback state of the DSU/CSU: noLoop(1), the default, or one of several analog/digital local/remote loopback modes, some with a test pattern. Use this to run diagnostic loopback tests on the circuit, remembering to set it back to noLoop(1) when testing is complete so the line resumes normal service.
