Module: WebGraph-AnalogIn-57644-US-MIB

OID (symbolic): WebGraph-AnalogIn-57644-US-MIB::wtWebGraphAnalogIn57644AlarmHysteresis

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5040.1.2.12.3.1.5.3.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: OCTET STRING

Access: read-write

Description: Temperature changes of this size clears the alarm state (MAX-hyst, MIN+hyst.) , in degrees with maximum 2 decimal places.

What is wtWebGraphAnalogIn57644AlarmHysteresis?

This sets a temperature margin (in degrees, up to 2 decimal places) the reading must move back past the threshold by before the alarm clears, i.e. the alarm clears at (Max minus this value) or (Min plus this value) rather than exactly at the threshold. A nonzero hysteresis prevents the alarm from rapidly flapping on and off when a reading hovers right at the limit.
