Description: Specifies the maximum allowed hops for a BPDU in an MST region. This parameter is used by all the instances of the MST.

What is wsSwMstpGenMaxHops?

Specifies the maximum number of hops a BPDU can travel within this MST region before being discarded, applying to all MST instances. An admin lowers this on a small region or raises it on a larger one to keep BPDU propagation bounded without prematurely dropping valid updates.
