What Is WRI-SMI?
WRI-SMI is the Structure of Management Information module for FiberHome Networks' WRI product line, establishing the enterprise OID tree and top-level registration hierarchy under which FiberHome's WRI-branded product MIBs place their objects. As a pure SMI/namespace module it defines no runtime monitoring objects of its own; WRI-SMI SNMP management therefore focuses on discovering the OID tree rather than polling live data, since it exists to provide the structural root that other FiberHome WRI MIBs depend on for OID allocation. No sample objects were supplied in this batch, so specific branch names beyond the general purpose cannot be confirmed. It depends on standard SNMPv2-SMI enterprise registration conventions and is a prerequisite import for FiberHome's WRI functional MIBs, which would carry the actual hardware/software status objects. It is relevant wherever FiberHome Networks WRI-series equipment (typically optical/transmission or access networking gear) is managed via SNMP.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in WRI-SMI. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

- FiberHome Networks WRI-series equipment
Monitoring Examples
This is a Structure-of-Management-Information module defining only the enterprise OID tree, with no runtime data objects of its own, so no monitoring scenario applies; actual status and configuration objects would be found in FiberHome's other WRI-branded product MIBs registered beneath this tree.
