Description: This object indicates the Power classification of the Powered Device(PD) connected on the port.

A value of 'class0(1)' indicates that the power classification of the powered device falls into class 0 in IEEE specifications.

A value of 'class1(2)' indicates that the power classification of the powered devices falls into class 1 in IEEE specifications.

A value of 'class2(3)' indicates that the power classification of the powered devices falls into class 2 in IEEE specifications.

A value of 'class3(4)' indicates that the power classification of the powered devices falls into class 3 in IEEE specifications.

A value of 'class4(5)' indicates that the power classification of the powered devices falls into class 4 in IEEE specifications.

What is wlsxPsePortPdClass?

This value reports the IEEE power classification of the Powered Device connected on this port, ranging from class0(1), the lowest power tier, to class4(5), the highest. An admin uses this to understand how much power the device is expected to draw, which affects power budgeting across the PSE. For example, class3(4) typically corresponds to a device needing significantly more power, such as a high-power access point, than a class1(2) device like a basic IP phone.
