WISI-ROOT-MIB

Defines WISI Communications root enterprise OID structure and product registration hierarchy.

WISI-ROOT-MIB is a registration-only MIB that defines the top of WISI Communications' enterprise OID subtree rather than any runtime management data. WISI is a maker of cable/broadband headend and signal-distribution equipment, and this module simply establishes the private enterprise number under which WISI's product-specific MIBs are organized. It does not itself expose any hardware or software status objects such as uptime, temperature, or CPU load; those live in WISI's downstream product MIBs that are rooted under this OID branch. As a pure registration module it has no dependency on other MIBs beyond the standard SNMPv2-SMI enterprise-registration convention. It would be seen in the MIB tree of any network management system that has loaded WISI's product MIBs, purely as the anchor point for those definitions. Engineers can download the WISI-ROOT-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

This is a registration/root module, not a data-bearing MIB, so there is no monitoring scenario to describe honestly - it defines only the OID node under which WISI's actual product MIBs attach their objects.
