Module: WESTERN-MULTIPLEX-RAD10006-MIB
OID (symbolic): WESTERN-MULTIPLEX-RAD10006-MIB::cnfgT1NearEndRadioLoopback
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3727.20.20.1.3
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: This non-persistent variable contains the current state of the loopback mode for the radio side of the T1 channel of the radio.
'enabled' reconfigures the T1 data path of the radio. The data path is set to take data received from the radio side of the system and send it back out the transmitter of the radio.
'disabled' turns off the T1 channel radio loopback mode, and allows T1 data received from the radio side of the system to be presented to its Line Interface Unit, and T1 data received from the Line Interface Unit to be transmitted by the radio.
The default value for this variable is disabled(2).
What is cnfgT1NearEndRadioLoopback?
This controls a non-persistent local (near-end) T1 radio-side loopback: enabled(2) reroutes data received from the radio side back out the radio's own transmitter (bypassing the Line Interface Unit), while disabled(1, the default) restores normal pass-through operation. Admins enable this temporarily to test the local radio's T1 path without needing cooperation from the far-end site, then disable it afterward since it interrupts normal traffic.
