WATCHGUARD-PRODUCTS-MIB is a WatchGuard Technologies private enterprise MIB whose sole purpose is to enumerate object identifiers for WatchGuard's Firebox and XTM series security appliances, used as the sysObjectID value each product reports to identify its model. It contains no instrumented data objects of its own — no counters, tables, or state — only a registration tree of product-identity arcs. As such it plays no direct role in monitoring hardware or software status; it simply lets an NMS map a device's reported sysObjectID to a specific WatchGuard model name for inventory purposes. It is a companion/dependency to WatchGuard's actual instrumentation MIBs (and to SNMPv2-MIB's sysObjectID) rather than a standalone monitoring module. It is used across WatchGuard firewall/UTM appliance deployments purely for device identification during discovery. Engineers can download the WATCHGUARD-PRODUCTS-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

This module defines no pollable OBJECT-TYPE instances beyond static product-identity OID arcs like fbXSeries, fbX500, fbX550e, fbX700, and xtmSeries, so there is no runtime monitoring scenario to describe. An NMS would only reference these OIDs indirectly, matching a discovered device's sysObjectID against this tree to display a model name like "WatchGuard Firebox X550e" in an inventory report. No operational or fault data is exposed by this MIB itself.
