Module: VDSL2-LINE-MIB

OID (symbolic): VDSL2-LINE-MIB::xdsl2LineStatusXtuTransSys

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.10.251.1.1.1.1.13

Type: Xdsl2TransmissionModeType

Access: read-only

Description: The xTU Transmission System (xTS) in use.

It is coded in a bitmap representation with one bit set to '1' (the selected coding for the DSL line). This parameter may be derived from the handshaking procedures defined in Recommendation G.994.1. A set of xDSL line transmission modes, with one bit per mode.

What is xdsl2LineStatusXtuTransSys?

Reports which xTU Transmission System (the specific DSL coding standard, e.g. a G.993.2 VDSL2 profile or a G.992.x ADSL2/2+ mode) the line actually negotiated during the G.994.1 handshake, encoded as one bit set in a bitmap of possible modes. An admin compares this against the modes enabled in xdsl2LConfProfXtuTransSysEna to see whether the line settled on the fastest mode both ends support.
