Node type: NOTIFICATION-TYPE

Description: This notification indicates that the errored seconds threshold has been reached/exceeded for the referred xTU-C.

What is xdsl2LinePerfESThreshXtuc?

This notification is generated when the count of errored seconds on a VDSL2 line (measured at the central office xTU-C transceiver) reaches or exceeds a configured threshold. Errored seconds indicate periods where one or more bit errors occurred, reflecting line quality issues. Operators receive this alarm to identify deteriorating DSL link quality and take action like reducing target throughput or scheduling line maintenance.

Examples

Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):

snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' VDSL2-LINE-MIB::xdsl2LinePerfESThreshXtuc
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.2.1.10.251.0.3

Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):

snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public
