Description:
The ADSL Transceiver Unit (ATU) G.994.1 Vendor ID as
inserted in the G.994.1 CL/CLR message. It consists of 8 binary octets, including a country code followed by a (regionally allocated) provider code, as defined in Recommendation T.35.
What is xdsl2LInvG994VendorId?
This read-only object contains the 8-byte vendor identification code transmitted by the VDSL2 modem during G.994.1 handshake negotiation with the line termination unit. It identifies the modem manufacturer using a country code and regionally-allocated provider code. Service providers use this to track equipment types and diagnose compatibility issues between different vendor modems.
