Module: VDSL2-LINE-MIB

OID (symbolic): VDSL2-LINE-MIB::xdsl2LConfProfXtuTransSysEna

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.10.251.1.5.1.2.1.29

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Xdsl2TransmissionModeType

Access: read-create

Description: xTU Transmission System Enabling (XTSE). A list of the different coding types enabled in this profile. It is coded in a bitmap representation with 1 or more bits set. A bit set to '1' means that the xTUs may apply the respective coding for the DSL line. A bit set to '0' means that the xTUs cannot apply the respective coding for the ADSL line. All 'reserved' bits should be set to '0'.

What is xdsl2LConfProfXtuTransSysEna?

A bitmap (XTSE) listing which transmission-system coding types (specific ADSL/ADSL2/ADSL2+/VDSL2 modes) are permitted for lines using this profile; a bit set to 1 means the xTUs may use that coding, 0 means they may not, and reserved bits must stay 0. An operator narrows this to a single mode to force a line onto e.g. VDSL2-only, or leaves several enabled to let 'automode' negotiation pick the best one the loop supports.
