What is xdsl2LConfProfTargetSnrmDs?
Sets the minimum downstream noise margin, in units of 0.1 dB, the receiver must achieve relative to its bit-error-rate requirement in order to successfully complete initialization on each downstream bearer channel. Raising this target makes the line train up more conservatively (often at a lower rate) for extra resilience against noise; lowering it lets the line chase higher rates at the risk of more errors.
