xdsl2LConfProfScMaskUs

Module: VDSL2-LINE-MIB

OID (symbolic): VDSL2-LINE-MIB::xdsl2LConfProfScMaskUs

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.10.251.1.5.1.2.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Xdsl2ScMaskUs

Access: read-create

Description: Subcarrier mask. A bitmap of 4096 bits that allows masking up to 4096 upstream subcarriers. If bit i (0 <= i < NSCus) is set to '1', the respective upstream subcarrier is masked, and if set to '0', the respective subcarrier is unmasked. Note that there should always be unmasked subcarriers (i.e., this object cannot be all 1's). Also note that if NSCus < 4096, all bits i (NSCus < i <= 4096) should be set to '1'.

What is xdsl2LConfProfScMaskUs?

A 4096-bit mask that lets an operator block specific upstream subcarriers from being used at all (bit set to 1 means masked/blocked), the upstream counterpart to xdsl2LConfProfScMaskDs; at least one subcarrier must remain unmasked. An admin sets bits here to keep the line from transmitting upstream on frequencies that must stay clear for regulatory or interference reasons.
