Description: Power management state Enabling (PMMode). Defines the power states the xTU-C or xTU-R may autonomously transition to on this line. This is a set of bits, where any bit with a '1' value means that the xTU is allowed to transit into the respective state and any bit with a '0' value means that the xTU is not allowed to transit into the respective state.
What is xdsl2LConfProfPmMode?
A bitmap defining which low-power states (idle L1/L2, or similarly reduced power) the xTU-C or xTU-R is allowed to autonomously transition into on this line; a bit set to 1 permits that transition. Operators disable low-power transitions on lines needing consistently low latency (voice/video services) and enable them on lines where saving power is preferred over avoiding the brief re-negotiation that a power-state change causes.
