Description: This parameter, when set to 'true' indicates that the framer settings of the bearer shall be selected such that the impulse noise protection computed according to the formula specified in the relevant Recommendation is greater than or equal to the minimal impulse noise protection requirement. This flag shall have the same value for all the bearers of one line in the same direction.
What is xdsl2LConfProfForceInp?
When set to 'true', forces the framer settings for every bearer on this line, in a given direction, to guarantee at least the formula-computed minimal impulse noise protection rather than letting other settings potentially fall short of it. An operator enables this on lines prone to impulse noise (e.g. from nearby appliances or wiring) to prioritize robustness against burst errors over squeezing out maximum rate.
